As a celebrity, you can’t get a better platform to show off your latest fashion hauls and personal grooming upgrades than a red-carpet event. It is while walking the red carpet that real stars feel most at home, and it’s here that they are seen in their true element. A report by Preeti Singh.

Priyanka Chopra

The Quantico star Priyanka Chopra made headlines with her grand appearance at the 68th Annual Emmy Awards. She was wearing a twirl ready-red gown with cutouts on the shoulder and waist. The gown was designed by Jason Wu. The actress was later called one of the best-dressed celebrities at the award ceremony. Chopra also presented an award at the event.

Olivia Wilde

The famous American actress, Olivia Wilde was among best-dressed stars of the night at the Golden Globes Award 2016. She was wearing a wine-tone Michael Kors halter dress. She teamed the gown with the jewellery by Bulgari. The star looked sleek and chic and showed-off her shape with her bright, attractive dress which she carried with great elegance.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is always in the news for being the latest fashion icon. At the IIFA Awards 2016 ceremony, media spotted the actress in a  white Sabyasachi gown inspired by Spanish bull fighters. The gown was a Godet skirt with cape which beautifully complemented the actresss personality. She also won the Best Actress award this year.

Kit Harington

This year, the Emmy Awards did not only witness best-dressed female celebs but also saw some male actors who were well turned out. The Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington was looking perfect as he arrived at the 68th Annual Emmy Awards wearing a tailored black tux. The actor was also the nominee in the Best Supporting Actor category.

In the group of all the midnight blacks and the exchange of those furtive glances of the dark hued shades of colors, is what takes forward this festive season in 2016. Where the Diwali and the Navratras are considered the festivals of lights and prosperity, and this festive season is no different! The ethnic fashion which has those beautiful billowy Kurtis and the salwar suits and all those truckloads of the traditional wear which are a good fusion of modern and ethnic fashion.
