Designer Dolly Parekh suggests that a heavy worked net lehenga with a combination of golden brocade blouse alongwith a red net dupatta with embrace of heavy golden kundan work border always works. The designer has used the combination of red and golden as these are traditional bridal colours which most of them would pick. One can also opt for Meenakari jewellery with the lehenga as it gives a royal touch to the look. The big round nose ring adds to the glamour quotient. The bindi also add to the bride’s look.

Nishit Gupta, director of KALKI says that nowadays brides opt for heavy yet minimalistic look on their wedding day. Therefore, for all the brides-to-be, this pink crop top lehenga with zardosi embroidery will definitely work for those who choose to go for simple yet an attractive look. Also, the floral embellished outfit is matched with a beige net dupatta to balance the bright pink with the subtle and elegant beige. One can also opt for bright pink dupatta of the same shade and pair it up with jewellery that one wishes to add to the whole ensemble.

Designer Latha Puttanna suggests tissue woven with Karnataka silk Langa Dhavani with hand embroidered mango butas combined with traditional temple design gold beaten hand work embroidered border. The skirt style is south Indian pleated which is called Langa in Karnataka. The work in the blouse is hand beaten gold  contrasted with bottle green silk blouse with sheer  Banarasi silk net on sleeves and a big mango motif on the back. Worn with a Banarasi net dupatta with small mango buta edged with tissue frill will add to the look.

Designer Shikha Nuwal of brand Sionnah says, be it Indian wedding season or just preferential party wear, classics are rounded up for you. To add richness and glamour to your outfit, the designer recommends this couture lehenga collection. The lehengas are known for its ethnic traditional zardozi work, mirror work, crystal work, patch work, gota borders– some classic styles that have stayed through time. The royal fabric velvet, a favourite makes a strong impact on this latest collection. Pair it up with heavy jewellery.

Shrey Gupta, director of brand Sartojiva, suggests that when it comes to groom wear, in spite of the fact that it is the D-day, keep it simple. Use of silk is appreciated, avoid too much shine and glitter. Wearing a heavy embroidered shervani is passé; sophisticated and classy look is in vogue. Use of colours can create a visual splendour. One can go for the gold-beige shervani crafted in authentic Banarasi fabric and pair it with a beige chudidar to finish the look with a safa/sehra. Add shervani fabric to your shoes/jutti.
