Royal Brewery Bistro

Hotel The Royal Plaza, Ashoka Road, New Delhi

The Royal Plaza hotel has introduced a new bistro in the city with vintage industrial themes called Royal Brewery Bistro. The new bistro comprises combination of fine dining and lounge seating with a community table to cater the different variety of choices. The outlet will be serving a wide variety of fresh draught beers, RBB signature cocktails, and mocktails that will make evenings astonishing.

Royal Brewery Bistro, the first ever in India’s capital offers an impressive collection of 6 types of Draught Beers, delicately brewed with precision at the Pub, including molecular cocktails, Wine Cellar & Cigars Lounge and other innovative food & beverage options.

The private cellar has been stocked with over 300 bottles of wine which will be a perfect companion to cherish moments with friends over good food, conversations, and laughter. A poolside view has added another interesting factor. The large TV screens will also provide you an option to party while watching your favorite sport or world cup matches with your group.

My evening started at the bistro with draught beer that was served in shot glasses. I tasted five different kinds of draught beer. Each shot of the beer was brewed with different ingredient. Well, have you ever tried draught beer “Beera” along with the lime? I can tell you that it tastes mesmerizing.

The next food on my table was Pastapollo Ed Asparagi which was not a red sauce or white sauce pasta rather it was different from any other pasta you have ever eaten. The pasta is made of Parmessan cheese, Cherry tomato, Ricota cheese, Sundried tomato, Asparagus and fresh cream. Every bite of the pasta was sinful and cheesy and was full of flavour.

Then came my next drink, “Brewer Street”. We all have tasted cocktails with orange juice and vodka or whisky but Brewer Street was a very uniquely mix down drink with Beer. The cocktail was a mix of Beer, Rum, Vodka and Tequila served in a big Beer mug and it tasted heaven.

House Special Pizza followed next. Pizza was nicely baked in Olive oil and was finely topped with Mozzarella cheese, Sundried tomato, mushroom and fresh Green chilli on a thin crust. The pizza was crunchy and gave a great taste to the buds.

The main course included Almond Crusted Norwegian Salmon steak. For all fish lovers, this dish is a delight to eat. Salmon steak was cooked with Thyme, Olive oil, Salmon steak, Almond flakes, Parmesan cheese, and White wine. It was served with boiled crunched potatoes and Asparagus, Baby carrot, Zuchhini green and Broccoli.

For non-vegetarians, New Zealand Lamb Chops are a treat — the lamb chops are finely cooked and served with boiled potato and broccoli. For dessert one can definitely go for chocolate mousse, mocha pastry or lemon berry savarin.

Royal Brewery Bistro’s cuisine is finger-licking good. They believe in serving simple food but in an exclusive way.
