December marks the onset of a new smartphone season

The year might soon be coming to a close, but the winter season only marks the beginning of an immensely competitive spell for the smartphone industry. It is around Christmastime that the world’s biggest tech brands click into action, vying to launch devices that will set new benchmarks for mobile technology, and send consumers beelining for the stores. In the next few weeks, a range of new devices will be unveiled by smartphone brands, with Motorolla, Micromax, Lenovo, Samsung and Xiami each gearing up to introduce updated versions of existing models, as well as brand-new phones in the market. MOTO Z2 FORCE

Moto Z2 force will feature 5.5inch display QHD ShatterShield POLED display. The device will be offered in two variants- 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM+128GB variants. The phone will be powered by Android Nougat operating system Tru-Octa core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. On the camera front, Z2 force features 12MP rear camera with Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor supporting a resolution of 4000 x 3000 Pixels. Front camera will be powered by 5MP with 85-degree wide angle lens, and LED flash module. Other sensors include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Barometer, Compass and Gyroscope. The smartphone’s inbuilt storage will be expandable via microSD card upto 2TB. Moto Z2 force is expected to release mid of December and is expected to be priced at Rs 39,999.

MICROMAX CANVAS INFINITY PRO

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro mobile will features a 5.9 inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and runs on Android Oreo operating system. The device will be powered by Quad core, 1.4 GHz, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 4 GB of RAM. As far as the battery is concerned it will have 3250 mAh. On the camera front, the device will support 13 MP rear camera and 16MP front camera along with LED flash. Other sensors include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer. The handset will come with fingerprint sensor. On board storage is at 64 GB which will be expandable via a microSD card upto 128 GB. Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is expected to release in December 2017 and is expected to be priced at Rs 12,990.

LENOVO K7 NOTE

Lenovo K7 Note will come with 5.5 inch display with a screen resolution of Full HD with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and runs on Android Nougat operating system. The device will be powered by Octa core, 2 GHz, Cortex A53 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM. On the camera front, the handset will features 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera along with Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus features. The camera will also come with Continuos Shooting and High Dynamic Range mode. The device will come with the internal storage of 32GB which is expandable via microSD card upto 128GB. Lenovo K7 Note is expected to release in December 2017 and is expected to be priced at Rs 14,990.

XIOMI REDMI 5

Xiomi Redmi 5 will feature 5.99 inch full HD display with the bezel free feature and will come with a screen resolution of 1080x 2160 pixels. The handset will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625SoC and sports octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and internal memory of 64 GB which is expandable via a microSD card upto 256GB. On the camera front, the device supports 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Connectivity options are said to include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Headphones, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone are rumoured to include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor. Xiomi Redmi 5 is expected to release in December 2017 and is expected to be priced at Rs 12,990.

SAMSUNG GALAXY J7 PLUS

Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus will feature a super AMOLED 5.5 inch display Full HD with a screen resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels and runs on Android Nougat operating system. The device is powered by Octa core, 2.3 GHz, Cortex A53 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM. On the camera front, the device will support 13MP rear camera comes along with CMOS image sensor and 16MP front camerap powered by powered by a CMOS image sensor along with LED flash, Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus features. The camera also comes with Continuos Shooting and High Dynamic Range mode. Other sensorsin the device will include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope.  The handset comes with the fingerprint sensor and internal memory of 32 GB which is expandable via a microSD card upto 256GB. Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus is expected to release in end of Dember 2017 and is expected to be priced at Rs 21,990.
