There was a time, say, around a decade or so ago, when pocket cameras became a must-have gadget for everyone. Then, with the advent of the smartphone, amateur photography received another fresh boost. But all these shifts in technology haven’t been able to touch the professional camera market. Owning a DSLR is still the dream for all photography enthusiasts. From photojournalists to college students, everyone wants a high-end camera. NIKON D4S

Nikon D4S camera features to shoot up to 11fps- 1fps with metering and autofocus acquisition. FUJIFILM X-T2

Fujifilm X-T2 is a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. The camera features 24-megapixel APS-C sensor and 4K video recording and 325 autofocus points for quick focusing speed. X-T2 is dust, freeze and splash resistant camera. It also comprise of 24.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III APS-C sensor, sans a low-pass filter. X-T2 sports X-Processor Pro image processing chip which enables better autofocus speeds of 0.06 seconds and 8fps burst shooting with phase detection autofocus and motion predictive focus. Fujifilm X-T2 features 0.48-inch OLED viewfinder with a 2.36 million dot resolution and a 60fps refresh rate. The ISO range of the camera is from 200 to 6400 and it can be extended to 100-25600. It also gives the maximum shutter speed up to 1/8000 seconds. The camera also comes with tempered glass LCD display with 1.04 million dot resolution. Fujifilm X-T2 is priced at Rs 1,07,700.

NIKON KEYMISSION 360

Nikon’s KeyMission 360 camera is the first action camera in the Nikon family. The camera takes on the 360 degree photography market as the camera shoot 360 video in 4K, which makes the footage interesting for VR use as well. KeyMission 360 is a waterproof camera to 30 meters of water level. The camera also contains SnapBridge tech which makes it easy to copy footage on the laptop for editing or sharing.  The Nikon KeyMission 360 is priced at Rs 34,000 approximately.

SONY A6300

Sony A6300 is a mirrorless lens compact camera primarily for action stills and video. The camera comes with the magnesium alloy body which is resistant to dust and moisture. A6300 consists of Micro-HDMI connector, and Mirco-USB port and an HDMI cable for the 4K video and stills. Sony A6300’s electronic viewfinder is of XGA OLED display with a 2.4 million dot resolution and a magnification of 1.07x. The camera supports frame rate of 60fps for smoother motion. The camera sports 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor for low-light shots at high ISO sensitivity levels. Sony also packages SELP1650 lens for powered zoom and it also has an in-built stabilization with Sony’s Optical Steady Shot technology. The camera is priced at Rs 74,990.

CANON EOS 1300D

Canon EOS 1300D comes with in-built Wi-Fi and NFC capabilities. The design of the camera is made plastic with a matte texture for a good grip and for scratch resistance. The body of the camera weighs 440grams. The camera comprise of a Mini-USB port, and a Mini-HDMI port. Canon also has a Wi-Fi signal LED which flashes once connected to a laptop or a Smartphone. Canon EOS1300D also has optical viewfinder for reading exposure, ISO, shutter seed and aperture. Canon has a 3-inch TFT display with a 920K dot resolution. The camera features 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, ISO range of 100-6400, and is capable of 3fps burst shooting with Digic 4+ image processor. Canon EOS 1300D is priced at Rs 29,995.
