Putting the Dholera International Airport project on fast-track, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has given its in-principle approval to the Greenfield Project. This project was accorded environment clearance by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, in December 2015.
Before this, the Ministry of Defence and Civil Aviation have already issued the “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) and site clearance for the construction of the airport at Dholera. This project will provide fast connectivity for the Dholera Special Investment Region and lead to better air connectivity of the region with the rest of the state and country. The project will be developed on a PPP model.
