The ideal electronic library for students

While libraries all across are finding it increasingly difficult to stay in business, IndiaReads is taking the business of book renting online. Their collection ranges from biographies, literature, self-help to course books, and you pay only a fraction of the price to read the material, without having to buy the book. Sign up, make the initial payable amount that acts as a security deposit; the rent of individual books is then deducted from the initial amount, based on the duration for which the book stays in your possession. The rest of the amount is refunded. Their one-day-dispatch and two-day-doorstep delivery is a particularly attractive option for students looking for course material come exam time. And if your cart is loaded enough, the delivery is free. Once you’re done with a semester’s books, they go back to IndianReads, so you don’t have to worry about them piling up in your house. Pickup charges are included in the overall cost, so you just need to dump the books into a carton and schedule a pickup and location.
The refund is made taking the state of the books and date of pickup into account. You also get bonus store credits by referring other friends to the site and getting them to rent books.
