Smartwatches are part of the new fad trending in the tech world these days. The prospects in this segment are looking up to the extent that even fashion labels and old-schol watch brands are collaborating with big firms like Samsung and Apple to together reap the benefits of an emerging market.
The recent launch of Apple Watch Series 2 made headlines everywhere. And in the comign months, more   wearables are expected to be unveiled by brands like Samsung, HTC, Fossil, Nixon and  Google among others. Here’s a list the best smartwatches in the pipeline
 
GEAR S3 CLASSIC
Samsung Gear S3 Classic is going bigger and better than Samsung Gear S2 Classic. Gear S3 comes with a larger display and a bigger battery both in Frontier and Classic varieties. The device has increased its display size to 1.3 inches by using the same Super AMOLED technology. The screen also includes 360x 360-pixel resolution. Gear S3 supports always-on- display for which company has given 768MB of RAM.  The device also has 380mAh juice pack which will last battery for three to four days of regular use. The one new feature in Gear S3 is that it includes altimeter and a speedometer making device a better fitness watch. The Gear S3 Classic is a 1GHz, dual-core processor, supported by 4GB of flash storage. The device also house Corning Gorilla Glass, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC and GPS for connectivity. Gear S3 will run on Samsung’s Tizen operating system. The device is priced at Rs 20,000 approximately.
 
ASUS ZENWATCH 3
Asus Zenwatch 3 smart watch features circular design, fitness tracking, customizable watch faces and interchangeable straps. Rs 17,000 approximately. 
 
CASIO WSD-F10
 
Casio WSD-F10 is an outdoor android wear is specially designed for someone who loves hiking, fishing and biking since the watch has the ability to access the world of data. The smart watch offers 50m water resistance and MIL-STD-810G for dust-proofing aficionados. The device weighs 92g with the bulky rubber strap and has two screens which can be switched between to conserve power and one can also toggle the screen into a monochrome mode. The main screen has the LCD display of 1.32 inch with a resolution of 320×300 pixels. Casio WSD-F10 is a standard MO android wear which has its own apps and services installed into the watch and also have its own app for controlling the experience. The key app of the watch is Casio Moment Setter Plus which enables users to customize buttons on the right-hand side of the watch. The price of the smart watch is set at Rs 34,000 approximately.
 
MOTO 360
Motorola has come up with its first Android wear device with a round display. The design is constructed from glass and stainless steel and includes a leather strap from Chicago tannery. Moto 360 is a lighter watch compared to other smart watches and weighs only 49 grams. The device comes with three colors of watch band—black, light grey and dark grey. The display of the gadget is small at 1.56 inches with the resolution 320×290 pixels per inch. Moto 360 features Motorola Connect app I through which one can track their steps and heart rate. It also comes with another heart rate app which monitors the tracks of how active one is during the day. The gadget runs on the TI OMAP3630 processor. The Moto 360 is priced at Rs 8000 and onwards approximately. 
 
 
APPLE WATCH SERIES 2
Apple watch series 2 has been revealed and it is more for fitness fanatics. Series 2 comes with a square face and sport built-in GPS which helps the user to record distance, pace and speed during outdoor workouts such as cycling, walking or running. The device is swim proof unlike the first edition which was splash-proof and the watch is completely water resistant to a depth of 50 meters in swimming pool and as well as open water.  The watch series 2 is powered with S2 chip with a dual-core processor and a GPU that’s offers amazing graphics performance. GPU will help run intense graphic based games smoothly on the watch. The device comes in aluminum, stainless steel, and white ceramic. Apple watch series 2 runs on OS 2 operating system which will feature new Pokemon go app. Apple watch series 2 is priced at Rs 25,000 approximately. 
 
LG WATCH URBANE
LG Watch Urbane compound stainless steel in gleaming silver and brassy gold which gives a posh look to the watch. The watch sports 1.2GHz Snapdragon along with the same 512MB of RAM and 410mAh battery. Urbane comes with a 22mm leather strap. The device comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallows software which gives battery optimization and gesture support. The gadget’s display is 1.3 inch P-OLED which gives 320×400 resolutions. The watch features gesture controls which means it enables its users to get all notification cards just by jerking the wrist and users can snap their wrist to wake up the display. Urbane also have some of the in-built apps in it. LG Watch Urbane is priced at Rs  14,000 approximately.
