This feature presents paintings by Bhupen Khakhar (1934–2003), that are part of an ongoing retrospective at the Tate Modern in London. Curated by Chris Dercon, Director, and Nada Raza, Assistant Curator at Tate Modern  the exhibition is supported by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art and sponsored by Deutsche Bank.

This is the first international retrospective of Khakhar since his death in 2003. Bhupen Khakhar: You Can’t Please All began on 1 June and is slated to conclude on 6 November 2016. The exhibition brings together the artist’s work from across five decades and collections around the world, including major works on canvas, luminous watercolour paintings and experimental ceramics.
