Tequila LED Speakers
By Spider Designs
Price: Rs 1,899

A tiny, mostly transparent glass dome accommodates the Tequila LED speaker, with the sound tunnel boasting volume levels suitable even for an average-sized drawing room. Sound quality isn’t fantastic, but it’s surprisingly loud considering the size of the device — it’s small enough to fit inside your palm. Besides playing music, the speaker also doubles up as a mini lamp, as the built-in LEDs light the transparent dome in different patterns, from strobes to soothing  colour transitions. Connectivity options on the device include a USB, an auxiliary port, a micro SD card slot and Bluetooth. Connecting via Bluetooth lets you answer calls to your cell phone, while the music playback can be controlled from the speaker itself.
The three-watt speaker can stay powered up for hours on a single charge. That said, playing music via Bluetooth takes a toll on any device, let alone one cranking out music on full volume. So if you plan to use the device for longer periods, make sure you have a charging outlet (or at least a portable charger) handy; regular Android phone chargers work perfectly fine with the device. As for the range, you won’t be able to take your phone too far away from the speaker without the playback getting interrupted or distorted.
For the price, the Tequila LED Speakers are a great party companion, taking  care of both your lighting and audio needs, with the shortcomings not really acting as dealbreakers.
