CLARIFICATION

NewsCLARIFICATION
This is with reference to a news item published in our edition dated 3 May 2015, on black money stashed away in Singapore (Singapore tops as black money destination). We have come to know that certain elements are interpreting that the former Chief Minister mentioned in the report was referring to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu. We would like to clarify that the interpretation is wholly incorrect. The former Chief Minister mentioned in the report had nothing to do with Andhra Pradesh and in fact hails from a northern state. The Sunday Guardian is not responsible for the motivated campaign intended to damage the image of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
