Once Shri Kesab Chandra Sen and Vijaykrishna Goswami had come to visit Sri Ramakrishna.  At that time Narendra (the future Swami Vivekananda) was also present at that place.  Sri Ramakrishna was looking at Kesab, Vijay and Narendra one after another.  After Kesab and Vijay left, Sri Ramakrishna remarked that one particular quality had made Kesab so famous and that 18 such qualities were present in Narendra.  He added that in Vijay and Kesab the light of knowledge was burning like a small lamp, whereas it was shining like a blazing sun in Narendra.  On hearing this Shri Narendra felt extremely embarrassed.  He severely criticized Sri Ramakrishna stating, “Sir, what are you saying.  Shri Kesab Chandra Sen is a world renowned figure.  I am just a mere boy.  How do you compare me with him?”  But, Sri Ramakrishna was very firm in his opinion.  He said, “I am not saying this myself.  The Divine Mother is revealing me all these facts.”  But, Narendra would not believe.  All that Sri Ramakrishna had envisioned came to be true years later.  Swami Vivekananda, who was an unknown monk, set sail to America to participate in the World Parliament of Religions.  He had never before addressed an audience from a public platform.  It was a huge gathering of the cream of intelligentsia of the American society.  Religious leaders from all parts of the globe had assembled.  He addressed the audience as “Sisters and Brothers of America”.  Instantaneously the entire audience of several thousand broke into a thunderous applause which continued for several minutes.    He became an instant celebrity and went on to become the most famous speaker at the Parliament of Religions.  Sri Ramakrishna was so established in truth that every word he uttered was true.  Swami Vivekananda is such a world renowned figure who is perhaps thousand times more famous than Shri Kesab Chandra Sen.
